What is a good bag to bring on a shopping spree?

Posted by admin
Kevin Y asked:

I am going on a shopping spree in Florida and I plan on only bringing a carry-on. I need some good, strong yet small and portable shopping bags I can fold away neatly and tuck away in my day pack. Any suggestions?
I need them to be lightweight, as I am bringing a lot of stuff(I don’t live there).
Please understand that I am MALE!!! (sorry)

      Hi,

Probably the best thing you could do is buy a sports duffle bag in Florida to transport your goodies back in. However, if you just want bags to take around the stores while you’re out shopping, have you got over in the USA the P.E.T. recycled shopping bags? They are available here in Australia at our supermarkets and they fold down into 4″ x 2.5″ size that you can pop into your purse or handbag.

My wife bought one the other day and it was great. We forget to take a bag with us out of our car and she remembered she had bought it and got it out of her hand bag. They are strong, flexible and very light. Plus, they are made of recycled materials, so it’s helped the environment.

My other suggestion is to check out your local handbag store in the travel section to see if they perhaps stock them.

Good luck and HAPPY SHOPPING!! :)
